This Takes Focus

I am aware that I have not done any writing since Friday. The weekend has been beautiful and I have been working with a group all weekend. The time goes quickly.
I feel the urgency to get this book and my information out to the world. I know it will have a positive affect on the career world. Anyone who feels at a loss when they start back to work on a Monday will have tools to work with.
How did you feel Sunday night? Were you excited about getting to the office?

The First Page

This is my first posting to my blog about my new book, Bringing your Passions to Life.
I thought it would be a good idea to get comments as I go and the book comes together over the next few months.
This book is about career transition. It's just that you may not have thought of your career in this way.
Rather than look at resumes or interview techniques, I decided to take career planning from a different perspective.
First, I believe that the stories of our life have affected the kinds of careers we have undertaken.
I also believe that we have a passion for aspects of life that we have forgotten.
So, the idea is to create a career from the things you are passionate about and if not them specifically, then to look at the essence of what you love.
I know the first thing people say is that the bills have to get paid. I think they can be paid and you can feel fulfilled at the same time!
